Alpha Phi's at the University of North Texas are leaders in and out of Alpha Phi. Gamma Eta members are leaders, athletes, scholars, artists, and more. Alpha Phi loves keeping our presence known on the UNT campus. Whether that's supporting the Mean Green sporting teams, being involved in organizations, or attending events on campus, UNT Alpha Phi loves the Mean Green!

"As a Converged Broadcast Media major, I have become the Segment Anchor and Weather reporter for North Texas Television, as well asoOn-camera talent on All That and a Bag of Chips for North Texas Entertainment. Over the past two years I have created news packages, constructed teleprompter scripts, operated the green screen, interviewed people, assembled graphics, improvised live shots, and been the eyes and ears of the camera. I have grown in my production skills and have had two short films selected for film festivals. I hope to soon branch to radio, talk shows, and sports reporting. It’s cool to be part of a sorority that gives me the connections I will need after I graduate and head into the real world of news!!"

"Being involved on campus is a great way to boost your social life, get involved in the community, and looks great on a resume. This past semester I was a sports anchor for NT Daily News and would broadcast live every Tuesday. I am not camera shy and know how to use my voice when reporting. Alpha Phi has taught me how to believe in myself and to be confident in everything I do."
