How the Alpha Phi Foundation has Impacted our lives
"When I went through recruitment, woman’s heart health wasn’t as impactful as it is now. Here I am, not even a year later, the impact it has on my life has completely changed. In March of 2021, my grandma underwent open-heart surgery. After, she moved in with me and my family so we could take care of her and help her regain her strength. Sadly June 8th she passed away. Woman’s heart health doesn’t now just affect my grandma but also my mom, my sister, and me. Never would I have thought women’s heart health would hit so close to home. Being in Alpha Phi makes me proud to keep supporting something I’m truly passionate about."
The importance of the
Alpha Phi Foundation
"I am so thankful for the opportunity Alpha Phi gave me to travel to Orlando and attend the Disney Institute! I met so many amazing women from all over the US and Canada who have become close friends of mine. Without this opportunity, I may have never had the chance to meet such wonderful, strong women. I learned so much about the qualities that make an exceptional leader and I know I can apply this knowledge in so many aspects of my life! I will forever be so grateful for the Alpha Phi institute for making this conference possible! I truly will remember the memories I made forever!."
