Hey there! I’m Elisabeth Mericle, Vice President of Membership Recruitment. I am majoring in Interdisciplinary Art & Design Studies with a minor in Home Furnishings and I graduate in the Fall of 2024. As VP of Recruitment, I am able to show girls what it means to be an Alpha Phi, everything that comes along with it, and welcome them into the chapter. Coming into college, I was from out of state and did not know anyone or have any friends at UNT. In the Fall of 2022, I decided to COB in hopes to find a community, and I found that and so much more. My college experience would definitely not be the same if it weren’t for this group of girls. Alpha Phi has brought me so many opportunities, experiences, and lifelong friendships that I will always be grateful for. I have been on the executive board for nearly two years now, holding two different positions, which has been so rewarding. Being on Alpha Phi’s side of recruitment last year for the first time made me want to be even more involved in the recruitment process. The feeling of watching our new member class run home each year on bid year is so fulfilling and makes the whole process even more worth it.
